Der 1952 in Seattle geborene Künstler, der vor seiner Übersiedelung nach Europa in den frühen 70er Jahren ein Kunststudium an der University of Washington mit dem Bachelor of Arts absolvierte, gehört seit vielen Jahren der Pforzheimer Kunstszene an. Neben seiner künstlerischen Tätigkeit gibt er seit vielen Jahren Aktzeichenunterricht im Werkstatthaus Ost in Stuttgart.

the love down below

start over again and teach me something new. take a day here or there it doesn't matter. it's an ongoing projection – up & down – this is where the fun begins. i want to create a body of work without having to think. this art is about dis-illusion. i will prove it to women at night – i will make them ugly or beautiful it doesn't matter. i will be obsessed my whole life because there is some kind of falseness in the air. they are out on a wire for the same reasons (raisins) as i. i'm getting better – losing my parameters, gaining ground. do you understand what this means? i mean it's not over – this darkness i mean – this sweetness. confront me with your beauty and your sorrow. i will use it.

the best time of all was when we didn't speak. during the holy silence time was standing and was still. there are no words for the love down below. if love talks it talks without speaking and will only say that beauty was to blame-that is-to blame nothing. you were there and so was i.
